Founders Background - Niall,

Niall’s initial introduction to Landscaping started with part-time Lawn Maintenance in 2010 around the Mayo area. After University, and three years in Production Management in Cork, he relocated to Canada where he once again returned back to Landscaping where he took on the responsibility of Operations Manager for Cutting Hedge Landscaping across Metro Vancouver.

In this senior role he management & trained multiple teams of staff in Landscape Maintenance in both Commercial and Residential properties over a five year period. In this position, Niall was able to streamline the maintenance processes by utilizing previous experiences in Lean Manufacturing, and sustain the outdoor spaces of over 250 properties on an annual basis for a broad base of clients.

With years of knowledge in Landscape Maintenance, he was able to gain insights into Landscape Design styles and trends - moreover, what elements in a Landscape can truly benefit the space and those who operate within it. He studied at Ashworth College in Georgia part-time in 2022, while carrying on his management role and gained a Diploma in Landscape Design.

In 2023, Niall set up ‘Prograss Design’ - A start-up company that primarily caters for those who need support with planning out upgrades to their Commercial & Residential Sites. At the end of 2023, Niall and his family relocated back to Ireland, bringing the business with them.

Since January 2024, Prograss Design & Landscaping has been carrying out Landscape Design all across Ireland, with the addition of Landscape Maintenance all over the Mayo area. We work for a variety of clients, supporting them in their aspirations to improve and sustain their outdoor spaces.
